CBI Jun 19, 2011 12:04 PM

Happy Father's Day to all the awesome dads out there! Everyone who feels up to it, post a picture of your favorite snake in your collection in honor of the great dads out there... Here's mine BTW it does not have to be a king!

Well I think I'm an awesome dad... even if I do have to say so myself.

And it's good it doesn't have to be a king snake as I only have two varieties of milks... polyzonas and gaigeaes... and since I have a picture of the female poly handy I'll say she's my favorite... every bit as docile as my adult BM Jade and with the appetite of a BM as well.

Also included a photo of my son Nathan, daughter Melissa and my granddaughter Maggie... Taken at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Bangor Maine... shooting locale for Stephen King's "Pet Sematary"... we aren't Goths, the place just has some nice walking trails and ponds... great place to be dead I guess

Gerry, Nice looking poly!

pyromaniac Jun 19, 2011 07:31 PM

I am not a father to any offspring but here are a couple of papas to be:

Alfonzo the bull snake; one of my favorites. His mate Zoey laid a nice clutch June 2.

Mazar and one of his mates Zunchara; his other mate Dotz laid a nice clutch April 25 but nothing came of the later mating with Zunchara (she is the one with the very bright white bands and is my favorite pyro). Maybe next year...I think it was my fault as when she was possibly ovulating I had separated him to get him to eat...newbie mistake! LOL!

Bob, as always nice snakes and hope you had a good day! Don't feel bad I have a female pyro go 2 years without laying. Witness copulation both years and no such luck. Things that make you go Hmmmmm.....
