Normal Male San Diego

Pit_fan Jun 19, 2011 07:17 PM

Given the popularity of San Diego morphs, found it surprisingly difficult to find someone with a nice clutch of normals. This is an 09 male that I call "Stretch". He's still a little less than three feet long as he is prone to go off feed for extended periods. Has the yellow and red tones that appeal to me among normal SDGs though. Thanks fer lookin...

Do you see these high color individuals generally distributed throughout their range or are these more typical of the northern part of their range? Never have poked around much in annectens range as most of it lies within close proximity to too much of an urban environment for my liking.

Hmmm, not sure I get the question but I'll try this...

I referred to yours as "normal" only in that it's not albino or striped or some such thing. Just a really colorful example of a normally patterned annectens. Nope, I've never seen one with such high color. Most all I've seen have been in Ventura Co.

Hope that answers it

You have some nice animals. Nice to see some folks are keeping good natural representations of locales.

Very nice example of the species, nice to breed for good example instead of something thats odd in the species.
