Mine is about the same now and hes handling the ladies like crazy.
I put the male in today with my female and she is definately receptive. she is jerkin' about and lifting her belly. I assume that is normal breeding behavior? the male seems like he's trying to figure out what to do, but maybe he's too small still? i measured him and weighed him today hes 32g and a foot long.
this is the female last summer!

hes good to go by all the info from the experts here, sounds like breeding behavior to me .
How long should they stay together to get good copulation results.
Size sound fine for a male.
3-4 days in, 2-3 days out for feeding. Good luck.
