We need to join together to fight the stupidity & hypocrisy of animal rights and the garbage that AP keeps churning out! They are showing their true and honest colors now. The HSUS slurs everything to make exotic keepers look bad, and mis quote and on and on, and I expect that they do the same exact thing here..

They have Senator Steve Cohen introducing a federal bill to combat "Captive Hunts". I bet even Harvey Hilderbran will be squirming in his snake hating boots over this...he has something against us having captive exotics, but its perfectly OK for his to run about until they are shot.

Want more proof that Animal Planet has gone completely to being Animal (Rights) Planet? They now even have an upcoming program promoting veganism called "Sweet Avenger", which appears to be a reality series about the reials and tribulations of a vegan bakery. I am not making this up.

I guess it's not animal cruelty if your cat dies because you fed it the wrong diet. I seem to recall that there are several cases of severe health issues that have been documented from people attempting to feed cats (and dogs) an all vegetable diet.
I also find it amusing that they use the confection in their little snippet since it immediately brings sugar to mind with me which I am sure is a prominent ingredient in their foods. Do you suppose these dimwitts realize that they burn cane fields to harvest sugar? Do they honestly think sugar farmers run through their fields and make sure all the animals leave before they burn them? I guess it's only cruel if you eat animals not if you burn them alive in the production of your vegetable products.
When I was a kid in Texas it was common knowledge that one or 2 Illegals (or more) would end up dead every down in the valley because they made the mistake of hiding in cane fields at harvest time.
Lots of off-color jokes to go around about having a bit of Juan Valdez with your coffee back in those days.

If we have interesting animals we all need to give talks at schools (if they will let you)and other civic gatherings to rebute this madness. I've done it here and the parents were shocked about it. The said they would never give money to them (HSUS)(Peta)ect. They took my word for it and were going to investagate more. I dont know people that believe this crap,and they dont want their kids to be exposed to it. I believe the AR's are a minority but have the "hollywood type producers" and TV as a stage. We must counter their agenda by speaking out in a public forum. Its a big hard job and we cant be lazy, as it will take a long time to undo it. I've personally seen it done through a Herp Society I was a founding member of and we dispelled the old redneck notion that the only good snake is a dead one. We changed that and the kids parents would tell me "I dont kill snakes anymore my kids wount let me. It took 15-20 years so GET TO WORK, INSPIRE SOMEONE. A live animal presentation done right is VERY affective. The kids dont forget it, but it has to be LIVE in their hands! They will forget what they read and pictures but NOT an impressive LIVE presentation. Above all DO NOT BE P.C. tell it like it is with confidence. I'm so pissed about this AR stuff and their inablers the Government.
