Brandon that paradox super pewter is THE COOLEST snake I've ever seen. All great pics!! Look like they're growing nicely. Congrats Chris Hall

Thanks Chris. He is one of my favorites...and seems to be a favorite among many people that have seen him. He began tail wrapping a couple of months ago so the 2011/12 is going to be exciting for us.

Thanks again.

What kind of Carpet is that?

Brandon Osborne Jun 21, 2011 08:19 PM

Definitely not a shag carpet. They are actually Carpondros. We hatched 7 of 9 fertile eggs and they are AMAZING! Here is a pic of mom on eggs as they were hatching.

We figured maternal was best and we were correct. Mom did a great job and looked great coming off the eggs.

I'm not a fan of hybrids, but those are beautiful! Before I posted, I had to look again to see if they were chondros! The "pits" threw me! Great pic of mom on eggs at hatching too!

Thanks Jeff! He does get better as he gets bigger. Mom just had her pre-lay over the weekend, so we will see who got her sometime around Sept. I'm hoping to get more like him.....he was trying with her the last couple of months before she ovulated so fingers are crossed.

Thanks again

I remember seeing you post pick of them as hatchlings, but I forgot how awesome they looked. That pewter pied looks like a masked snake super hero!!!!! I can't quit looking at this post. I'm sure you've had plenty of offers to take them off your hands. Good luck with that tail wrapping by this coming season he'll be a pro. Chris Hall
