Pueblan Wont Eat

ClovisAL Sep 30, 2003 12:30 AM

My Baby Pueblan Milksnake hasnt eaten since Sept.9.. she got real sulky and stayed curled up inside her hide tube most of the time.. I thought she might be going through a shedding cycle and sure enough she did shed on Sept.26.. I thought her problems were behind her, but she still as of last night wont eat. Is this a common occurance and should I expect her to eat soon or do I have something serious to worry about?

It can be common in many snakes for them to go off their food. Maybe she doesn't feel secure for some reason that you could fix. Try putting her in a small deli container.. or a brown paper bag and into her cage with an appropriate sized prey item and leave her there overnight.
