Thanks Lyn! I love this pic! The bad thing is ,she has no fear of anything and she lives in an area with lots of timber rattlers and the northern copperheads are everywhere! Jeff

Nice! Hope you enjoyed the trip-there's some pretty good herping here in WV. A lot of people seem to visit the parks/forests to the north, but I always enjoyed the southern half of the state a lot more.

Yeah, I know what ya' mean Kevin! I grew up in McDowell Cty. and caught multitudes of timber rattlers and copperheads just to name few!! Lol! Actually know some folks who handle them in church!! Not me but, to each his own!! Jeff

Wow that's a good size. The ones here in Florida tend to be tiny. They need a moist area or they dry out quick, and most will eat certain Earthworms. You just have to figure out which ones. Some of the commecial ones are refused. The best are the ones found naturally in that region. Good luck!

Thanks for the info Jorge but I didn't keep him! I lived the first 19 yrs. of my life in southern W.V. and caught tons of these guys!Lol! I've actually seen them 18 to 20 inches up there!
