ID of amazing Pit at expo

mokele2 Jun 25, 2011 08:35 PM

An acquaintance of mine recently went to an expo in Chicago, and among the photos she posted is this one:

Unfortunately, she doesn't recall the name of the exhibitor or anything about the snake, so she's given me permission to post it in search of answers (I can only assume she had permission to take the photo in the first place).

Anyone know what species/locality/morph this is, and who owns it? Are any commercially available yet?

Thanks!

I used to have an adult pair that looked exactly like those, about 8 years ago. I couldn't figure out what they were. I thought LA Pines, some type of Northern intergrades, Bull/Pine hybrids...etc. I never did pinpoint what they were, other than really nice looking. I eventually traded them and was told they ended up going to live with Henry Rollins.
