I believe that I have a rankin. He is 4 months old and 6 inches. He hardly eats and does not seem to be getting much bigger. How much should he/she be eating? I thought I bought a bearde dragon, but not sure any more. Does anyone have a photo of a rankin?My lights are correct and he has been tested for worms and is fine. Thanks

I don't personally have a picture and I don't want to post someone else's without asking, but if you go to www.sundialreptile.com there is a picture of a rankins that I am getting on Wednesday. I would say your dragon either has some serious issues going on or is a rankins.

and it is an amazing eater! is my most aggressive insect hunter at the moment besides my gargoyle gecko!
it was I think a bit malnourished and a slight bit dehydrated when I got it, but it has shed probably 3 times since the show in april that we got it, and growing quickly, it is my first rankin it will probably not exceed ll inches or so......

I've been wondering the same thing about my dragons.. they just seem rather small. Not to mention the petstore had NO clue. These pictures look almost identical to my 2 babies.. but the pics still look a lot like the rest of the beardie pics I see on here.. Is that pattern a sure way to tell the difference or would I just have to wait till they are 'full' grown and go by size? I am rather attached to my babies but I'm gonna be awefull peaved if they sold me something other than bearded dragons. =(
I'm really not sure what I would do about it if that were the case. But like peachpie, I'd like to know.
