So many differant opinions on Substrate for Crested Geckos. Any ideas, I dont want to use newspaper or papertowels.

So many differant opinions on Substrate for Crested Geckos. Any ideas, I dont want to use newspaper or papertowels.
I reccomend using jungle mix. It isn't to hard to clean, and it holds humidity well.
I am not a fan of loose substrates but Jungle Mix is prob one of the safer things to use besides just leaving the bottom bare. If and when you use loose substrate I recommend using bowls to feed the geckos. This way crix are not lost or hiding in the cage and there is no accidental ingestion of substrate for missed strikes.
