The photos obviously got misplaced, I`m sure as sure as can be they`ll be here in due course, otherwise, some of us are going to think there`s no such thing as a 5 ft. Savannah monitor.....
(Maybe I`ll ask Santa to bring me one, if anyone can, HE can)..
I would think a Savannah monitor with five feet would be able to run real fast.
But only in a circle.

Or use it for a rudder while swimming. hahahahahahahaha. A five foot sav, is only for circle track racing.
Not quite 5 feet, but nice size & look ( not mine!!)

It sure is nice to see a decent size Sav that isn't obese.
Thats mine, he was 4.5ft with a loss of 3 inches to the tip of his tail later in life from an injury (4ft 3 inches after that point). In fact hes buried several hundred feet from where Im sitting right now. I never saw another close to that size. In fact that picture was a copy of a 35mm photo of him sitting on my wifes lap.
The biggest Ive seen was one 4.5ft example I had years ago, none of the others got near that size.
