I havn't had a alot of time to looks for herps this year so Far but when I did I made count , On april 14 I had a couple minutes kill so I when favorite spot . I found 17 male Rubber boas in about 10 minutes and all where in a 20 foot ratios . It was cold 53 degrees and there where sun bathing . The next week I took Ryan Hoyer and we found 8 more in about 15 minutes . Right place at the right time .There wasmore just outside of picture

Yeah Thats how I found them . I only touch one of them ,to see what sex it was and I didn't pick it up off the ground , just moved him a little . I will try and post some pics from that day . A lot of the where ball up to gather .

Awesome! Makes me glad places like that still exist. But I am jealous, since I've yet to find a rubber boa in the wild... Not that I have a lot of time to go look for them... LOL

It took me 2 years before I found my first Rubber boa , But there not that hard to find once you learn there habits and habitat .
