Hi...Does anyone know what size of cage is the best size for House Geckos? My local pet store has what looks to be about a 20 gallon extra tall tank, but they also house about 20-25 House Geckos and Anoles in the same tank. So I was just curious what size would be the best for say...4-5 House Geckos? 10 or 20 gallon?

hi- i'm new to geckos and currently have a baby and a juvi in a 10 gal and I can't imagine having 4-5 in there. So just my guess would be at least a 20 gal (preferably high - I would assume.)

House geckos are to be housed in your house. Hence the name. Nothing smaller will suffice. A smaller size house is ok, but only if you are poor and/or homeless.

house geckos can be housed in som what clos quarters.
10 gallons for up to 2 (only one male)
20 gallons for up to 3 (ditto)
30 gallons for up to 4 (ditto)
40 gallons for up to 5 (with planty of hiding and nigt heat spots 2 males may work)
i would go with 10 gallons per gecko as long as they all have their own hiding places. bark rolls are loved(act like hollow trees)

I just bought a 20hi for my them today. I was going to give a bark roll to my tarantula but decided it would be better used with the gecks - Rose can web just about anywhere
