Nope.....no morphs needed for thayeri variability.........lol

If calking didn't have them they would all be black/ brown and white/yellow snakes..........with some nice variable patterns.....lol

No red, yellow, green, white, orange, gray, tan, buckskin leonis animals or yellow, orange, white, gray or buckskin tricolored animals........but there are solid black cal kings like melanistic thayeri and aberrants........hehe

Dang it Kerby! Your making it hard for me to resist buying some Cal Kings, man. My wife saw one that was almost purple even as an adult. Whuch one stays the most purple as it get's older, would it be the lavender?

Purple Passion cal kings are displaying 2 recessive genes at the same time, Lavender & Hypermelanism. They aren't that much different than Blizzards. Just like my Casper Cal Kings (Albino & Ghost). They all look pretty much the same.

I do have 2 clutches from double hets (Lavender & Hypermelanistic) incubating right now, plus 1 clutch of triple hets (Lavender, Albino & Hypermelanism).

This is a Hypo Ghost

Here is an Albino Ghost that I produced in 2009.

And hopefully this year my double hets (Lavender & Ghost) will produce that 1/16 that shows both Lavender & Ghost at the same time.
