LarM ( or anyone) Pic Posting Info

newworldmorphs Jun 28, 2011 10:02 PM

Maybe I just don't remember seeing your name in there or you're under a different one in the Classifieds, not sure? If you don't post on there , maybe you cant answer this... But I wanted to ask since you help everyone with pics on here...

Do you know how to post multiple pics in the Classifieds section? Theres a size limit for the three uploaded pictures you can put which keeps them tiny even when magnified.. and you can only put one pic in the image file bar.... Ive seen people post multiple huge pics, like here in the forum and I've tried the same [img] trick( I'm pretty sure I did it "right" , but it didn't work when used in the body of the ad.... any suggestions?

If you help, I promise not to use the word Jungle in any of my ads ( kidding!)

Thanks
jamess

I've actually never posted in the KS Classified yet.

I imagine if you tried using a really good compression tool you could
shrink the file immensely and barely touch pixel size "Length" 1024kb X 768kb "Height".

I know paint.net has a serious compression tool that allows you to
shrink file size without shrink pixel Length X Height.

That's my best guess with the exception of having the ability to
use code to write up your Ad page, it appears that some people
have pages like that.

Don't know app allows that option either.

AHHHH, gotcha!! Well, it was worth a shot!!
I do appreciate your help!
I will need to figure that out somehow cause, you're right, some people have definitely got that stuff figured out.

As well, I look forward to the day you do start posting on there! Well, except once you do, no one will want my stuff, lol. You must have some awesome stuff over there with you!

It's the same as the forums, if you use IMG tags you can post as many pics as you want. Just like here the pic has to be on the web somewhere. I use photobucket to store my pics.

thanks for the help! I swear I did it with the image tags and when I reviewed the ad the pics didn't show up, just the tag itself, so I figured it would post wrong and I would get stuck with an ad with no pics online so I didn't do it that way till I knew it was correct. Hope that makes sense!!??

I appreciate your insight!!!! Thanks

when done correctly, the pics do show correctly during review so you must have missed something.
