Newly hatched pales and reds

zonatahunt Jun 30, 2011 11:37 PM

I've been so busy that I simply haven't had a moment to photograph any of my new pain-in-the-arse hatchlings. About 20% of all my milks have taken pinks or pinkie heads, so at least that's a start!

This is my hold-back pair of Big Horn Co., MT, pales - male then female

These are the other two males from the same clutch:

And the other two females from the same clutch:

Here's a hatchling from my favorite locality of reds. He's quite flashy for his young age!

I had seven of these little buggers pop out last week. The clutch was male heavy, but I could care less, these hypo reds are great critters.

Here's a typical hatchling from my Johnson Co. clutch. They were quite large for reds.

Lastly, I was blessed with four female Ellsworth Co., KS, gentilis. This little girl pretty much represents how the other three look too.

Well, I hope all the rest of you are having a great time with your hatchlings as well!

Mitch

I only hatched out two temporalis this year. Here's a freshly shed St. Mary's temporalis.

I have two breeding pairs from Johnson Co., IL. This is a female from my second clutch.

Lastly, here's a female hatchling from my favorite locality of syspila. I posted a male in the original post, so I thought I'd pair him up with this girl.

Aaaaaaaaand, because they are the cutest damn snakes in the world as hatchlings, I thought I'd throw in a quick hoggy photo!

Mitch, that temp has some deep red. Very cool. The syspila
is just awesome looking. Those two should make some screamers, and you being one of the only guys I know who grows snakes faster than me, that won't be far away!!

Real Nice Mitch! Congrats! My favorite out of all is the Ellsworth Co., KS, gentilis.....Gentilis sure are one of my favorite NA Milks..... That picture of the male biting the female in the old Markels Kingsnake and Milksnake book(pg18) had me hooked on them since the early 90's...

Smoking animals as always Mitch!! I actually like the
Pales with more white showing ( the third and forth pics down), but that is splitting hairs.

Really nice (and BIG) Pales, man! The syspila are just smokin', too. I should have lots of neonates emerging over the next couple of days. I owe a few guys photos, so I'll post them up on the forum, too.

Hi Mitch,
I've been working a ton lately, and got a few days off and was going through the milk forum on KS, and saw your Bighorn Co. neonate photos.
Wow! Those look great, nice job. I'm really happy to see them, and I can't get over how awesome they look. Sweet.
