Orangasm Albino Motley 66%het Anery

newworldmorphs Jul 01, 2011 04:06 PM

Here is a new pic of this boa from my crazy aberrant litter. Everything should "just" be visuals or 66% Snow but this Motley Albino is way lighter than any one I have ever seen. It really pushes the "Heterozygous traits not being visual" envelope... if it wasn't for the very end of the tail, I would have passed out from having the first motley snow!! lol.
Well, theres always this year!!!!!

You can see, it doesn't look like the other Albino sibling, with the absence of the orange lines down its entire dorsal area... wicked
I'm thinking .....KEEPER ?!?!

Very interesting and unusual , I want to see how that guy develops.

if weren't for those very light tinted orange striped down the
Dorsal, lateral edge , it would look like a Snow !

Yeah, it was kind of a let down to see that orange peek through! It was not that orange when it was first born too, so it really got my heartrate going!! lol. Ive heard from people that the cramming of all of the genetics, including the Orangasm Line mother, her being a Hypo, and a Motley father really hurt me as much , if not more than helped me with this litter!
Also been told that there's " no reason" you cant have a "coral snow" that exhibits faint orange, like in Corn snakes coral snow versus their regular snow. I REALLY want to stay away from all the flowery adjectives describing my snakes though...Personally, I think it makes the person doing it look like they're trying convince themselves of what they have... IMO
So many " WTF"'s in this litter!!! I've got Motleys that look like Anerys until you get the last part of the tail stripe which shows a shade of "tan" thats not on the lateral striping nor is it as "brown" as the Motley Hypos.... its nutty!!!!

Thanks for looking at this one Lar!!!
I'm thinking I might put pics of the Anery(?) I was just talking bout too for opinions....

I don't agree with any of the Naysayers.

The Orangasm line is hands down the best line to use to produce
Snows from my observations.

As far as a Snow Boa exhibiting coral or any form of Red which includes
pink and Orange coloration is absolutely impossible.

The definition of Anerythristic is the absence of Red

A Snow Boa is a Double Homozygous Boa . . . . Homozygous Albino and Homozygous Anery.

You'll produce a wicked Orangasm snow in the near future I bet !

That is ONE wild looking boa.

It kind of reminds me of a picasso clown fish.

Yeah, its crazy how much it doesn't look like the other one ( as in the first pic in my post, the comparison pic)! I think I should have been more specific to point out that is not just one snake in that pic.

This litter was crazy.. in a great and bad way.. not easy to tell some apart, even with all the opinions and people who have seen them in person. Yikes!!

Thanks for the reply!!!
