Wow, sucks you missed the odds on a pairing like that. Really nice looking what did pop out though. I just had a clutch last week that did the same thing to me. Fingers crossed for the next one.
It couldn't have got much better, other than a fourth Silverstreak.
I see 3 freshly-hatched (light) Pewters and a Pastel. ??
Then they may be the best looking Pewters I have ever seen. I thought they looked a little too faded and reduced to be Pewters. I may be wrong though.
Both on the left sure look like pewters.. the one above the pastel is probably a pewter as well.... but looks light.

I just hatched 4 Pewters that were actually a bit lighter than those. They take a few days after they hatch to fully color up, so ya really can't judge them appropriately till after their first shed.
What's weird is that there were 3 pastel genes in that pairing and everything came out with a single Pastel gene. You'd expect, at the very least, everyone in that clutch should be Super Pastel. Damn lazy genes! That's what keeps it fascinating though, however unfortunate/disappointing.
I will post Pics again after they have shed.
Here though is a picture of a clutch from the same dad with
black pewters (and others)in it pre-shed.
Very nice. I had a 5-egg clutch last weekend from Pewter x Cinny that was 2.2 Pewters and 0.1 Pastel. Have another 6-egger coming next weekend from the same pairing and really hoping to see Super Cinnies and Bullets in this one. I prefer Streaks to Bullets though, much more appealing. Grown Bullets look like mud. Just crazy the way ya never can know what you're gonna get...and awesome at the same time. Congrats and good luck with them. Love this time of year.
