From one clutch I hatched 12 outta 12, the other clutch has yeilded 11 from 13 thus far.

Yep I sure glad I had the foresight to import stock from Lemke all those years ago,certainly proud to be keeping those lines going strong in my collection.

Very nice Al!!! Congrats. You have some nice animals. I have been looking into making some racks using those tubs you showed a while back. ( The tubs from ikea ). At least I think that was you who posted those. Loosing my memory though!! Lol.

Now that's a very relevant question for me right at this mo!!

I have never ever willingly attempted to double clutch my jani, in fact I don't do it with any of my pits.

However my oldest Lemke jani girl (pushing 15) has all her breeding life given me 10 eggs no more,no less each season without fail.

Fast forward to this season and she lays 13, with 10 hatching (last week)and 3 went bad.

So now here comes the surprise,just one week beforehand she laid a second clutch of 9 good eggs and 2 slugs.
No second intro of a male, just a nice feed the day after the first clutch laying and a nice reg diet from then forth.

Oddly enough I encountered the exact same scenario last season with my oldest albino annectens F.
