temps in winter

Ok new to BP's, I acquired my BP last March and I was curious as to how low the temps can go during the winter before it becomes problematic. thanks for the input in advance

It depends on what you plan to do with your ball python. If you want to breed them then you will want to cool them so you can make it seem like winter has come, so they hibernate and when they wake up they will be ready to breed. The tempuratures will go into the 70°s sometimes during cooling, but I don't know what kind of temps would kill them. If this is only for a pet, then there is no need to cool them.

Right now he's just a pet, in the future I would like to breed him, he's too young now anyhow. Just curious to know where the danger level is healthwise in regards to temps
