do you have to wait till a hatchling sheds first to feed for a first time and why? thanks!

Just a few posts down someone had a hatchling eat before shed. You don't have to wait, but you might not have any luck before shed. If they eat before shed, all the better.

Not all do eat prior to shed but some will. As hatchlings absorb their yolks and digest they will begin an eating reginment but by then theyre shedding. It never hurts to try
