Book on Breeding/Morphs?

shanecrabtree82 Jul 06, 2011 02:21 AM

I am looking to start breeding Balls down the line(aiming for next year). I have read alot online..watched alot of youtube videos...but I work in a job where i have alot of time where I could read a book. I was wondering what would be the best book I could pickup that would help me learn more about breeding and everything that goes along with it? Much appreciated in advance! Thanks

The Complete Ball Python by Kevin McCurley. It is a little expensive but WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! He really did an excellent job with it. Has great info on breeding and genetics plus great pics too.

The VPI Ball python book is the best book on the subject, really a fantastic piece.

McCurley's big book would be my second choice, content wise, and the condensed version of his book, for about 10 bucks, is the most bang for the buck, covering lots of husbandry info. We sell the most of that inexpensive title.

All are available here on the classifieds.
