Bad To The Bone!

CBI Jul 06, 2011 03:25 PM

Hope everyone had a great 4th, here is some stuff from my favorite projects.

These guys came from breeding a Lindsay Pike Hypo Female to a "Bone White Hypo" Male from Mark Bell. What I learned this year was that his line of "Bone Whites" seems to be a hypo version of the "White Lipped" Floridas. I got 100% Hypomelanistic animals out of that pairing but you can see the "White Lipped" gene trying to show through...

**These are not related to Rainer's line of Bone Whites**

This was my one and only Florida King pickup for the year... $15 White Lipped FL sold as a "Brooksi" LOL at a show
**Cool Eye On This Girl!**

Not "Bone" related animals, but none the less "White" ones... White Phases sired by the Lavender White Ghost from Zenny. Spunky and eating fuzzy mice out of the egg!

And lastly: If I had to pick two snakes out of my collection to call my most prize possessions, here they are... Two eggs, and a pair of Bone Whites (Rainers's Line). These are not "Hypos" as he bred his male to a ghost female and produced normal looking animals. I was so excited when these hatched, now let's just hope they eat!

Male

Female

And here were my best efforts to get them to sit still... together! The males and females look a lot different in person...

Anyways, thanks for looking and I think this project and Zenny's sulfur projects are going to be some of the most influential "Sleeper Morphs" in the FL Kings in years to come.

Nice line up... Any more pic of the hypos from that 1st clutch? I see very little "white faced" in that one but it is a killer hatchling.

Here's where ingot confused a lil the pairing to lindsay's female was with what male? I thought it was a "white faced" hypo?

You know I love those bone whites... It's interesting how the phenotype "swapped" if I'm not wrong last year's females looked like that male does.
