Welcome to kingsnake.com's message board system. Upload your image to somewhere, be it facebook or photobucket.
Once uploaded, right click on the pic. Copy the image url.
Down bottom of a post box here, there is a line that says image url. Paste your image url there. Post.

men would die from great loneliness of spirit.

soon happens to men.

Okay here we go, see if this works. Thanks so much for the help. This is a pic of Joy our Super Pewter.

You can also upload them to the KS photo gallery. There is a preview button to test. I use imageevent, I like their method of posting.
The problem now is not your image source, it is your code. You are copying the embedded code. All you need is the URL. The embedded code will be very long, probably 4 - 7 lines. The URL will much shorter. An image URL ends in .jpg, .gif, .tif, just like on your computer.
A URL for an image looks like this:
http://remainsofthedesi.files.wordpress.com/2007/06/two-headed-snake.jpg
In order to post the image to this website, all you have to do is add image tags to each end. The image tags for here look like this (without the asterisks):
[*img] URL [*/img]
Put the URL in the middle, and here you go (This is not my picture):
