I'm preparing to purchase a Uro soon and since I have been unable to find a list of foods I was wondering what everyone else's Uro's like.

I have Saharans--they eat a mixture of greens (kale, mustard greens, collards), thawed peas once per week (or more if the greens aren't up to par), veggie iguana food (I keep this dry food in there at all times in a separate dish). They also LOVE nasturtium and hibiscus blooms--these are an occasional treat, but they treat them like candy. Good luck--I have to admit uros. are highly addictive and I'm limited to my four by space, not by desire!

You want foods that ideally have a high calcium to phosphorus ration (2:1) and low oxylates and goiterogens (sp?). Dandelion greens, turnip greens, mustard greens are good staples. Collard greens, kale are very good if not fed every single day (oxylates). No spinach - very high oxylates.
