parazap uses

reps-r-us Sep 30, 2003 11:16 AM

I'm taking my Beardie Freddy to the Vet on Friday, for a general checkup and also to have a fecal done. He looks healthy and seems fine, but he just isn't eating as much as i think he should eat.
I would also like to order some parazap. How are you all using it?
I'm not so sure about the whole "tea" idea. I do not think my dragon would just drink it and i do not like the idea of forcing him to drink a dropperfull twice the day for 10 days out of the month.
Does anyone here give parazap dry, and is it still as effective that way?
How many days of the month do you give it?
Does parazap "count" as a probiotic?
Just in case my beardie gets treated for something, what should i use to get his gutflora up again?
Sheesh, sorry, so many question...
thank you in advance for any replys

Usually they get use to and like the tea....some brew it with juice to give it a more palatable flavor....you can dust, same number of days.....just not quite as effective, but if the animal is sick with parasites or anything you should definitely use the tea.....yes, it's a probiotic and balances and restores gut flora.

Good luck on your vet visit, let us know how it goes.

CheriS turned me on to the idea of making it with kiwi/strawberry Gatorade, instead of water.
