pastel or normal morph question

I purchased my ball about a year ago from regal reptiles. Bright yellow colors it was sold to me as a pastel. I been keepin up with the forums and researching ever since. Now as time gone by her color has gotten dull and is starting to look like a normal. Is that natural?
