That certainly looks to be a man-made corn x emoryi hybrid cross. They are known as "rootbeer" corns.

That's exactly what I was thinking Doug, I just didn't want to be the first to say it.

None of the emoryi I find up here in the field have that distinct a border on their blotches. The pattern seems a bit off too though I can't place my finger on exactly where. I'd second Doug's theory it's a cross (w/ a corn or something else, dunno).

We wouldn't have 6 and a half billion people if you had to be beautiful to get laid.
The blotches are both slightly larger and possibly slightly more dense (though that may be an result of her being at rest, versus the ones I find usually being in motion)

Here is a mail of the German girl who sold it to us, I don't understand a lot and she don't speak english, it's quite difficult to have good infos but she definitelly said to me that it's not an hybrid!
Hallo Manu,
MfG Glas Daniela
I don't speak any German. But that doesn't look like any Emoryi I've found around here (granted,I haven't found tons--a few a year).

I don't speak German too and my English is quite poor!
I also have a doubt about this snake but I don't find nothing in the pattern who can said "it's an hybrid": the belly pattern is the same than a classic emoryi, the blotches are also the same than a classic.
He have a big head with big eyes... Like an emoryi...!
I have to make others pics with one of my classic one, it 'll be easyest for you to be sure!
I tried to breed him with a BHB "ghost" this season to see what happened but it didn't work!
Here is a pic of one of our "ghost" female who is for me a "real" hypo (simple homo). Does someone know the history of the "ghost" morph?
Thx for your help and sorry for my poor english

Now THAT looks like a genuine hypo emoryi from what I can see.
I'm not sure what you mean by history of a "ghost" though. An authentic ghost CORNSNAKE is a double mutation of anery x hypomelanism, but if something else is coined "ghost" pertaining to any emoryi influence, I can only speculate it would be an anery-type emoryi x hypo emoryi as I am fairly sure there is some anery emoryi in the hobby. I know for certain that there are emoryi that are extremely dark from certain locales.
That hypo emoryi is a beauty!..
