The momma to the Sterling Patternless litter (re-paired with the sire of that litter) has skunked me this season. Her due date, based on a suspected ovulation and POS, was June 26. Here, 10 days later, no slugs, no babies, and no indications that she's holding onto anything.

She'll be paired with a Sterling male this fall and we'll hopefully see new Sterlings (and proof of genetics) in the spring of 2012.

No goo for me in 2011. Onward and upward.

We've had weird weather this year in IN...I think I have a C. Am. ovulating today even though they stopped courting months ago! And, I once had a "Colombian" give birth to a healthy litter 9 months after being separated from the male a few years back....so...

AHHH the trials and tribulations of breeding boas. Good luck next year with proving the sterlings as we will also be shooting for patternless harlequins and orange tail hypo patternless harlequins the same season. I hope all of us can do great thing with this project. They are so awesome.
