male vs. female

rinoa05_1987 Jul 10, 2011 06:42 PM

so this is possibly a stupid question, but I just wanted to check. are female lizards like parrots in that they produce eggs even when not bred? I ask because i've raised parrots and dealt with egg bind in the past and don't want to deal with the potential for egg bind again. I'd rather just try to make sure I end up with a male beardie over a female.
thanks,
ash
