Jungle with Pink Panther Ovulation

norajohn Jul 11, 2011 05:50 PM

This female Jungle is a full sister (same clutch) to the boa that I believe Jeff Ronne once called the most beautiful boa in the world (jungle pictured on rock background). When Jeff had this beautiful Jungle female I made him an offer I thought he could not refuse, but he did. I did the next best thing and purchased her sister. The two jungles are from Mark Miller's great Jungle clutch from I believe 05. I have been trying to get an ovulation from this girl for 3 years and finally succeeded by using a Pink Panther male I purchased from Tracy. This Jungle is a big girl now and you can't tell much from photo, but she is having a huge ovulation, so I hope she lays a bunch of Jungles Het Pink Panthers on me!
If anyone knows whatever became of my girls sister (Jeff?) I would be curious to know.

Thanks,
John Manser

I think I might know who has that Beautiful Jungle now. I still kick myself for not buying the fem Jungle which was the Mother
to that gorgeous Jungle Boa you pictured.

I had the opportunity in 2004 to buy that Matriarch Fem Jungle from Nick ( BoaAficionado ).

John Congrats on the great VPI PP to Jungle pairing and ovulation !!

Thanks Lar. I think that was just one of those clutches where everything clicks and all the babies were fantastic. I also tried to purchase another Jungle from that clutch as a two year old. She was extremely yellow and a very unusual looking Jungle. There's no telling where the sire and dam are now as it's been 6 years.

You are right John Manser. She was the most beautiful Boa in the world for sure! I ended up trading her back to Miller, a trade I have regretted many times. He sold her to a fellow named Greg... I can't remember his last name, for a vast sum of cash. He bred her once and produced a handful of babies. Literally a handful. A tiny litter. I have since lost contact with this fellow. Perhaps he will follow up on this thread.

Oh by the way... I no longer think she is the most beautiful Boa in the world, but sad though it may be, I can't show the one that I think is... hehe

I really really really need some Jungle VPI blood up North here John Manser. Surely you have seen something that I have produced this year that tickles your discriminating fancy...

Oh... and good luck with that girl! She looks massive!

Jeff,

I was always curious what happened to that girl, so I appreciate your chiming in. I also believe you when you say you have now seen boas that might surpass her beauty and the truth be told, so have I. But, she was for sure the best "normal" Jungle I have ever seen.

You know the only problem in this is that I know the boas I have seen that could go toe to toe with her in looks, but I DON'T know what boas YOU have seen. This concerns me greatly. Pictures are needed old buddy and soon!

That is a nice pairing Mr. Manser. Can't wait to see the pile of goo from this one. Good luck and thanks for everything. Our T's are doing great and the male is a huge monster now.
