When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Hi Alan,
Can you tell me what to look for as far as the mystic part of this mystic spider? I am not trying to give you a hard time just don't know what to look for that makes it a definite mystic spider?

You have some gorgeous snakes and I keep eyeing all of your gorgeous enchis too!!! V/R Paige

Balls - As many as my husband will tolerate...other various reptiles, animals, kids and a smoking sweet husband; would be perfect if he only liked ball pythons...

amcroyals Jul 13, 2011 03:40 PM

Paige,

Here is a Spider.

This is a pic taken under different lighting but as you can see, a regular Spider has white in the sides and has a tan/brown coloration.

The Mystic Spider is more of a orange/yellow overall and is lacking the white that a typical Spider would have. Very bold

As we know the Phantom and Mystic are similar. I compared my Mystic Spiders to Ralph's Phantom Spiders and saw that they were almost identicle in appearance. I also sent Ralph pics and he agreed that they look like his Phantom Spiders. Cheers, and thank you for your comments!

Alan,
Exactly the way I needed to see it perfect!! I like to have an idea of what I am looking for and that was the most perfect breakdown! I hope you understand it wasn't with any doubt it was a teaching moment for me. So much to learn regarding ball morphs!!

Congrats on your pretty could not even begin to imagine what you could do with a Spider Mystic?? Can't wait to see what you do with it and what you choose to mix it with? Have any special combos in mind? Has a mystic spider mojave been done? Wouldn't that be a Spider Potion?

V/R Paige
