With all of the bickering I thought I'd just post some pics of some Kings with Color........Hope you enjoy them and this doesn't start some kind of argument like...."That snake is pink......No it isn't, it's salmon!"........lol

Kent,
My wife and I have a deal....whatever I spend on snakes (not food or husbandry stuff) I spend equally on her.....She gets shoes, purses and jewelry all the damn time.....

Tell your wife about that deal, my wife wants all your wives to know.......LOL

Thanks for the compliment.....

John, I have moist hides in ALL my zonata cages and in the future would love to do some cages like you have or by using your system in the works. (you know what I mean). My snakes spend probably half of their time in the moist hides. I was just in Colorado and got to exlpore some cave type entrances. I was amazed at how moist and cool they were, even though it was HOT and DRY outside. Has to be what the environment is like where we cannot see for the zonata.

Joe

Jlassiter Jul 13, 2011 09:17 PM

Yep..........while others are on communal housing and feeding in groups I am still trying to perfect OPTIONS.......I guess I am way behind, but then again these aren't no common kings I'm mess in with........lol

Thanks John for the great email coaching you gave me last fall. It was regarding my alternas if you don't remember. I ended up putting my male with my larger female during brumation, and didn't separate them until early April (except for feeding!) That resulted in the 10 that hatched last week.

After he ate a couple of times, I noticed my smaller female appeared to be ovulating, so I put them together. Although I never witnessed copulation, I am incubating 8 good eggs from that pairing.

You need to learn to not post such prtty kings and mind your place. I like this thread. Once again there was no problems until you posted your pretty kings. Read all the nosense you put before that son. Now here you are hijacking your own thread that everyone was annoyed at. I have no interest in you. Go away and let this and keep things the way it was. This is everyones forum to! If you want to send pics EMAIL me!. Stop ruining this place John. As for your signature, your right but why not help people whn they need it?? If you want to talk to me anymore send a nonsense email. Otherwise shut your trap. Win/win. I wont respond to you about this anymore here and waste peoples time. Lets see if you have the testicular fortitude to email me pictures. I AM SORRY TO EVERYONE ELSE ON HERE. I am trying to keep this crap out. Lets see if the other side can handle it. .

tell me about it! I keep telling myself no more species till most of what I have and want to bred has bred a couple years running. I've managed the kings, now for the house snakes and king rats and retics...although I may cut myself a break on the king rats, I probably have at least 2 years for them to be breedable.

What an awesome collection of Mexicana, pyro, alterna, zonata you have! Also I really like the way you pose them on the polished pebbles!

What is the one in the ninth photo down? It looks sort of more like a milk snake.

The Mexican black king is on my list of snakes to obtain in the future, in lieu of getting an Indigo (wonderful snakes, those indigos, but need too much space)
