I found a little itty bitty 2 1/2-3" new born Dekays' snake, just curious what would it be eating and can you give me some links or info on of basic care?

I have one 3-5" Northern and they eat worms, slugs, snails and some bugs. mine is in a 5 gal with a heating pad under a quarter of the tank, i just got this lil guy a week ago but he seems to be ok.......I had another one just now but my mom won't let me keep it, this other one looked pretty and like a female commpared to mine, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...........Good luck
