Outdoor heat question

ReneeValois Jul 13, 2011 09:55 PM

I'm bringing my snakes to an outdoor educational event and it's supposed to be in the low 90's. I usually keep the warm end of the tank for my rainbow boa at about 82 degrees, which he seems to like (he also likes the cooler side). Should I leave him home if it looks like it will get 90 degrees or above (i.e. is that too dangerous a temperature for him)? I also have a blood python and corn snakes I could bring that I presume won't be dangerously bothered by the heat. Any advice?

Thanks!

Thanks for your advice, Cliff. (I would rather not risk any snake's safety and just wanted confirmation that those temps were too hot for him.)

I appreciate your help.
