A very nice, clean hypo....

FishBone7001 Jul 14, 2011 03:53 AM

I was searching through some pics i had on my computer, and found some pics from last winter of my hypo BCI. She is very clean, and a light creamy white background colour with lots of pinks. I thought she would work nicely in a breeding project. I was wondering, what the chances were of her passing on that 'clean' hypo look to her offspring? She stood out from all of her siblings at the show i got her at, none were that white. I know it obviously depends on the male i breed her with, just was wondering if anyone with breeding experience had an idea of the likelihood of that trait being passed on if i bred her w a non-hypo, as compared to the normal salmony type colours.

A pic of her (sorry, not the greatest)

Another of her, w a suri male & some OT friends

And another, w/o my Wife's nameplates, (she was upset i had never named that female BRB, so i let our girls do it... Skittles(Taste the rainbow...)

Those pics are about 8 months old, I need to get a few new ones the next time she sheds....

Dave

If you breed her to another clean male whether normal or a morph you should tend to have more clean babies than the dirty ones. At least that has been my experience.
