ballfreak Jul 14, 2011 12:25 PM

i have 4 adult ball pythons in a rack system and i will have to leave them for two weeks unattended i have no one to watch them so my question is has anyone left there snakes alone for two weeks and had any issues? i plan on not feeding them two weeks prior so i dont have stinking poop! they are well fed so im sure 4 weeks no food will be fine. of course they have a nice size water bowl always! thanks for any suggestions!

I just came back from 8 days away, and everything was everything when I got back. I also skipped a feed before going, and that paid off. Only other thing I did was get a bunch of sandwich-sized tuppers, drilled five quarter inch holes in the lids, filled them with soaked sponges for humidity. Came back to 4 good sheds, so, hard to be sure, but I think it worked (the other 26 were not speaking to me but were otherwise no worse for wear). Incubator also soldiered on without me, including two clutches that hatched without my usual assistance/interference. Good luck to you!
