A few photos... and a few more...

Howdy, milkheads! It's hotter than hell up here in Montana, so I figured I'd take some time and do a few indoor shots to detail a few of the breeders I've got eggs (or neonates, already) from this year. A portion of this year's breeders aren't depicted because I lose patience and/or they were in blue and not looking "up to snuff" for photo day. It's hard to capture the animals' "look" and full glory with the indoor lighting, but it was simply too hot to do any outdoor photos. Also, you might be able to tell that I've got "thing" for wild-type critters and LOVE flame-sided gentilis. Anyway, enough rambling. Here they are:

L. t. multistrata - Bighorn County, MT
Female

Male

L. t. gentilis - Boulder Co., CO
Female #1

Another shot

Female #2

Another look

Male #1

You know I really love the CA milks, but...

your L.t. gentilis - Boulder Co., CO... Male #2 (your photos named BoulderCoCO_Male_2a.jpg & 2b), is an absolute killer imo... if I were to see that offered at an expo I don't think I would pass it up... added it to my desktop folder(I'm still using one of daneby's photos at the moment though ).

Awesome series Cole! You sure have a ton of great gentilis and multistrata. I love the fact you've got so many localities you're working with and the variety between them. I can see how you are fond of the flame sides, those are cool.

Thanks for sharing and good photo work too bro!

Cole, awesome as usual. Polka dots is amazing bro. I was just in CO last week, and KS. Too bad the weather was hot as balls. I did not even attempt to flip anything but beer caps.

Glad everyone enjoyed!

Shannon, those spotted Blanchard's are sweet! Spotted milks are just cool.

The male black and white Boulder County animal is pretty special. Though the photos don't really show it, the black and white female depicted is actually even more stunning in person. She's a hog, too. Big ol' girl!

The Spotted Weld is one of my favorites. He was actually produced by Jeff Hardwick from animals originally collected by Ray Guese of the Dallas Zoo. They have some cool history and have been featured in many publications, including Williams' revised 1988 work.

I will post more photos as my neonates emerge and shed. Their appear to be some "lookers" in the bunch!

Awesome stuff Cole!

When I first saw pics of the flamers, I didn't really think that much of them. But the more I see 'em, the more I like 'em.
