Some Peruvians, lotsa pics

nickstone Jul 14, 2011 06:47 PM

My last litter was VERY male heavy, tried to take pics of all of them today, and here's a couple of the few that didn't try to make a run for it. I also got to witness some tail luring, I always really dig seeing stuff like that, guess it means its time to feed them :D

I really like this ones clean almost airbrushed look

This is another one that has really stood out since day 1, his saddles are kinda funky, but I love his contrast and his tail is unreal, I like him so much here's 2 pics :D

And here's 4 more that were nice enough to be still for a few seconds

And here are a couple females

This litter was produced from a "farm bred" Peruvian female, and either a "farm bred" male, or 1 of my males produced by Mark Hauge. I strongly suspect that both males sired a few babies based on witnessing copulation with both, and the looks of the offspring.

I don't own any W/C Peruvians, the closest thing are a couple different animals that were supposed to be farm bred, but after purchasing them and talking with the original owner I learned they were covered with ticks when they first came in......so I have my suspicions.

A couple of those have that wash you see on T animals. It's especially noticeable by the tail. Any chance there is something going on? Most Peruvians are very inky.

Those are some of the prettiest Peruvians I've ever seen. They'll stay light well into adulthood.

they're turning out real nice Nick. I'll have to come by and see them again post shed.
