I agree....I like the Black and Whites over the Black and Blues, but they are nice too.......

Next year I am going to breed my DH Snows / PH Hypos......
I can't wait to see Amels, Axanthics, Snows and Hets hatch out of one clutch.....With the possibility of even having some Hypos, Ghosts & Hybinos (lol) as well if the Hypo gene is really in there.....

john, i still can't get over how clean the pattern is on the double het you hatched out last year.

i really hope it passes those genes on.

I agree....a perfect "zig zagged" pattern....no speckling at all.....

It would be nice to see some Axanthics with the same pattern.....So I hope she passes those genes on too.....

Some beautiful snakes you have there, John! What is it called when you have all three of those morphs (hypo, axanthic, and albino) expressed in one snake? Has that been done yet?

No...it hasn't been done yet.......I think there has been only one Ghost produced too.....and a handful of snows by Don Shores....

I am sure the Amelanism will cancel out the Hypomelanism and show no visual difference than a Snow......But I don't know for sure.....
That is why I laugh at the fact that some folks were advertising double hets for Hybino.....It would be cool to make one but you wouldn't know it was one (imho) until you prove it out........as I believe there would be no phenotypical difference......

Yeah, seems like there shouldn't be a visual difference. How is a ghost made? Is it hypomelanistic and axanthic?

All of them look great John, but I really like that Axanthic in the first pic. Reminds me of a crisp Chesapeak Chain King.

beautiful pix, beautiful animals. i'm partial to #2, the bright yellow one. But there's a phenotype there for everyone. Cool. As are the similarities to some other getula--the brown vs black, for ex.
