Oh my goodness, what have I got?

ShadyLady Jul 14, 2011 11:53 PM

I have a clutch hatching. Mom is my multi het female (anery, amel, hypo, lavender, motley). Dad was sold to me as lavender motley (possibly also anery).

1st baby very teeny dark burgundy normal.
2nd baby gorgeous very black anery motley.
3rd baby lavender q-tip motley.
4th still in egg, but looks lavender
5th and 6th still in egg look AMEL !!!!!

What the heck? I could get snow and opal motleys? I could get lavender snow motleys! HOW COOL IS THAT? Of course I wouldn't know a lavender snow motley if it bit me on the nose! LOL!

I'll upload pics, but it'll take a while as I'm on dial-up.

Oh, my.....

This is fun! I never imagined this.

4th baby is lavender and pink - very pretty
5th baby looks opal motley
6th baby is amel motley

I see more amel-looking noses and lavender noses peeking...

Trying to work with photobucket, but it isn't cooperating with me, boo! It keeps shutting down on me.

This is the second baby, anery motley, already turning blue:

Third baby, lavender motley:

After fourth baby, next time I checked this is what I saw that made me freak out!

The one of the left looks to me like an opal motley:

The one of the right is an amel motley:

There were 25 eggs, maybe three have gone bad. So, lots more to come. 11 so far, 2 anery motley, 2 lavender motley, 1 lavender, 1 normal, 1 motley, 1 opal (?) motley, 2 amel motley.
