GUILTY Python killed Child

mikebell Jul 15, 2011 07:33 AM

The Florida couple that let an albino burmese python escape and kill a child has been found guilty of manslaughter, 3rd degree murder and child neglect. I know there were rumors surrounding this case, I don't know enough about those to comment. I don't know what happened, but the child is dead. They used a quilt as a top for the aquarium.

I'm in no way saying these people got a raw deal, they didn't take care of their child one way or another, and she was killed. They deserve to be punished. Neither did Casey Anthony protect her child from what ever MONSTER slid out from under a quilt and killed her child. This couple turned down a 10 year sentence and is now facing 35 years, Casey got time served.

I forgot to include a link. I found the info in my local paper, but there isn't a new link for the results, this is an old link about the case.

Negligence on any one person is a reflection of us all in the reptile community. They should be punished. I dont know the whole story in detail but what i do know is we are all responsible for our actions of our animals. Our number one priority should be keeping both animals and our family safe. If we fail its on our selves. keep our hobby safe and be responsible.
