Do ya'll find that leucistic rats calm down and quit bitting with frequent handling?

Well, sometimes that is the case, and other times the more frequently they are handled, the more frquently you get bitten..

Mine's all right once he's out and in hand. GETTING him in hand requires blood sacrifice though.

We wouldn't have 6 and a half billion people if you had to be beautiful to get laid.

LOL!!....Yeah, that's generally the norm when they are already out in-hand and you move slowly and don't flail your extremities in front of their faces for them to "zero-in-on". Then they are usually pretty decent most of the time.

One thing is for sure though, most of them don't need much provoking to initiate a serious barrage of defensive strikes...LMAO!!

I remember when I bought my female as a yearling. The guy that sold it to me said to take it out everyday and handle it for no more than 10 minutes, which is exactly what I did. The snake is such a sweetheart. It's got more of a cornsnake personality. She's never tried to bite me.

Beautiful snake. I just bought 1.2 and can't wait till they start to turn white.

I can't understand why a six foot, pure white snake isn't more popular. Maybe it's because they look like little pink worms when they're young and some people don't realize just how beautiful they get.
