I just wanted to share this....
I noticed mold on one of my eggs just over 2 weeks ago. The egg was due to hatch out this week. The mold continued to grow so I removed the egg from the clutch and put it in a seperate dish. The egg just hatched out today and the baby looks well. This is my 5th baby so far this year and so far they are all healthy and doing great. I hope she will grow and develope well over the next few days but she was quit lively and didn't seem any different from the other hatchlings.
My point....if you get mold on your egg don't throw it out right away...seperate it, but give it a few weeks. I didn't plan on throwing mine out till it was past the 11 week hatching period. I am very happy.
