can i let my iguana free roam?

I would love to let my iguana free roam,but where whould she potty at?Where would she sleep?Could she sleep in a ficus tree?Post here plz.

yes..you can have a free roaming iguana if you like. But you still should have some type of enclosure or area where they can go to get away if they need to. THey also will still need a basking area and place to get under the UVB lights. so as long as you still are providing all that..sure they can free roam.

As far as where will he potty etc. Mine doens't come out to free roam until AFTER she has already gone potty for me in the tub or outside. That takes care of that problem. Mine pretty much just roams around, climbs on top of everything and anything and seems to find whatever place she sees fit to take a nap. But when I am leaving my home, she is put back into her enclosure area for safety.

You also have to watch and make sure your home is "ig proof" and NEVER leave yours out unsupervised. They can get themselves into lots of trouble while your not watching! (just like having a toddler around!)
