Poor planning and procrastination on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part...

How are your Pyros doing?

rbichler Jul 18, 2011 11:06 PM

>>How are your Pyros doing?

Hi Bob, Pyros are doing fine. Still a joy to watch and look at. I only tried to breed one pair this year from a female that has never gave me a good clutch, she laid about 5-6 eggs, all went bad, accept for one that will be hatching any day now. And I still have three left from last year that were problem feeders. I would have to tease feed them to get them to eat, but there coming around now, two of them have ate on there own the last two feedings
How are yours doing? Did you breed any this year?

Still working on one a bad feeder from last year. The only good egg in a handful. One other was well formed dead in the egg.
Got some eggs recently. Don't think any look great.
Still enjoying them too. Great display animals. All doing well. I did not cool them this year, breeding not my focus. Glad to hear yours are well.
Very cool animals!

Sorry to here about the dead in the egg one. I had one of those myself this year, a Grey Band that didn't make it, fully developed.
Good luck with the rest of those eggs.

Sorry Bob no. It refused to eat after I got it. I tried everything (tease feeding, live, fresh killed, brained, lizard scented). It still wouldn't eat in November, so I brumated it, but it didn't survive the winter. Sorry. I had great success with all my other '10.

Wow sorry to hear that, I don't sale a animal unless it has ate at least 3-4 times with no problems. You should have got back in touch with me. Were you feeding F/t.
