Finally bought a pair of leaf tails, Phantasticus. Ive been wanting a pair of these for about 2 years now and finally decided to purchase a pair. Got them from LLL reptile this morning. They were a bit cold and the mail was a bit dehydrated. The female looks fine, tail is in good condition. Both are looking good, fat tummies, no visible ribs.
They both have red eyes, looks so nice. Female is a light brown color and the male im not too sure about. Opened to package this morning to find him in shed, kinda of expected that seeing as how the humidity probably dropped from what theyre used to. From the looks of it though he looks to be a deep purplish red. Great looking geckos. They were a lot smaller than I expected them to be. The female was pretty jumpy, the male was more calmed and not so freaked. The female is hiding under a pothos leaf in the back corner and the male is just sleeping facing downwards on a branch out in the open.
I might be able to get pictures of them at sometime, but its doubtful, lack of a digi-cam and macro lens make it kinda hard to get a decent pic.
