i had read once that u should let them soak for a while so i'm not sure, then other people tell me they just give the lentils dry regular right out the bag as a dry mix

I've never tried soaking them. It probably would be fine as long as they were removed promptly to prevent spoiling. If they walk through the wet stuff, it could dry like cement on their toes and tails, so you might keep an eye out for that, too. I feed them DRY! Crunch crunch! He loves the red ones extra.

I put the lentils in a big plastic box , my URO enters inside and stays there a long time eating and digging the lentils!Just like a bird!lol!

I tried soaking some when I first got my Mali's. But they never seemed too excited about them. Now I feed them ground up in a dry mix, and they love them!
