Sorry for the bad pic. It's the best I could do. What does this look like to you guys? There are 4 hatchlings still in the egg. They all look similar. This is the only one showing his head.

based on the parents you have several possibilities. It could be a firefly, or fire x pastel x yb, or pastel yb or maybe that female pastel yb is a pastel yb vanilla and maybe you hit on a fire x pastel x yb x vanilla. post pics when it comes out and we can tell you, a head shot does nothing for identification.

...and yes...I have hatched pastels that looked like they were something else...till they shed once or twice....pastel ghosts also....some just scream when they hatch....

....all I can see is the head top....

Looks like fireflys and they look like super pastels as babies.

Scott is a highly respective man that has some of the best morphs I seen and when it comes to morphs Scott Hager is a professional ball python breeder thats been around for many years and I have been doing ball pythons for many years too. it comes with experience. congrats Scott and best of luck. Scott it's looking good from the head shot, but hard to tell while it's still in the egg. Post some more after it's out. One thing I'm sure about is that female pastel is smoking hot!!!! Chris Hall
