3 different T-Positives Together in pics

boaphile Jul 19, 2011 12:00 PM

I decided to take a few pictures to show off the three different T-Positive bloodlines I have the pleasure of working with. These are each four foot plus. The Prodigy and the BWC are males. The VPI is a female. There is just something about seeing animals right next to each other that shows the similarities and the differences.

Here is a shot of my adult male Prodigy Boa taken just about two years ago outdoors with the old camera.

Here he is taken today using the much better Nikon with the macro lens. This lens does a better job up close that further away but you get the idea.

Then here is the VPI T-Pos female produced by Mr. Ant a few years back.

What a raving beauty she is:

Then here are the same Prodigy male in a shot taken with the VPI girl:

Don't worry. I only put them together for these pictures. They were not crazy about this interaction and would not quit moving. Hence the pictures are less than perfect. But you pretty much get the idea. Then I crossed my fingers as I brought over my adult male BWC to get in on the photographic action.

Gives a chance for the first time to see adults of all three of these T-Positive mutations together. I look forward to making many more of all these kids. Great fun!

Great post! There aren't to many people out there that could have taken pics of all three animals of their own. You are a blessed man Mr Ronne, you are in deed. Thanks for sharing!

There is Only 1 Person who has all three, because Jeff is the only
person in the world with a Prodigy Boa at this point

Richard, I realize that however I would believe he would have a better example of a BWC to use....my BWC boy is about 3.5 ft and light as can be even in FULL blue as he currently is....

That was a pic of him just yesterday which I posted up on the other board.

That is him at his absolute worst in full deep shed.

People can disapprove of my mentioning to use a better example of a BWC in a shot like that if they wish but if you are going to use exceptional examples of one gene you should use it for the rest.

Will I say the VPI animals I have are typically cleaner and brighter than my BWC boy, YES I will and that is because more selective breeding has been done and the lines have been cleaned up. Take a look at Dan Browns BWC he produced this year, that animal is SUPER clean and I believe that guy will likely end up cleaner and brighter than my boy as an adult.

My biggest concern with things like this is simply that people will see such an example of the BWC project and this it is the standard or is simply the best and count them out because of certain animals they see. If people did that where would Jungle animals be these days?

You will see plenty of low expression jungles posted out there and if people looked at those as the standard there would be absolutely no market for them same goes for Motleys.

There are and will always be exceptional and colorful examples of every morph.

Richard I will also note that putting exceptional animals like that next to one that isnt a 10 is the same thing that some women do when they go to bars. I will use that as an example.

If you go to a bar and you have 3 girls that are together one which is clearly the CB and is in no way desirable and she is with her two friends who are maybes 7's by them self and then amplified by their less attractive friend. Not saying those animals Jeff posted with the BWC are 7s they are clearly very exceptional animals however with a collection like Jeffs I would find it highly unlikely that BWC is his star player.

Hopefully no offense was made to you Jeff that particular look might appeal to certain people but if I were just casually browsing the forum and came across that posting it would turn me off completely to wanting a bwc type animal.

Just my opinion but it is one I feel very firmly about if you disagree please feel free to call and talk about it.

The BWC I posted is the only BWC that I have here over three feet. He is a beauty too in my book. I have not seen an adult that is lighter than he is. I rank him as a ten and was very happy to get him when I did a couple months ago. I have not seen a lighter adult posted either. My original male which I bred a number of years ago wasn't anywhere near as nice as this one. I have big plans for this boy this year!
